Leading Actor Missing Post-Scandal Reportedly Seen Abroad

Jo Jin Woong’s location is unknown as rumors say he’s spotted overseas after retiring from the entertainment industry.
The controversy started after his sudden retirement in December amid past crime allegations. Some accused him of theft and other crimes from his youth, which Jo Jin Woong admitted. Sexual assault accusations surfaced too, but his agency denied those as false.
Now, new reports say he may be in Malaysia. The YouTube channel The Fact released a video on January 31 saying Jo Jin Woong was seen abroad.
A Korean living in Malaysia told the channel,
“An acquaintance saw Jo Jin Woong in downtown Malaysia,”
adding,
“He passed by quickly, so no photos or videos were captured.”
This sighting is still unconfirmed.
Soon after retiring, Jo Jin Woong cut all contact with friends and stopped all public activity.
His current drama Second Signal on tvN, already filmed, faces uncertainty because of this mess.
The situation is developing with no official confirmation on his whereabouts.
