ADOR Responds Strongly to Lawsuit Alleging NewJeans Plagiarism

NewJeans faces a massive plagiarism lawsuit in the US over their hit song “How Sweet.”
The controversy began when HYBE, ADOR, and NewJeans were all hit with a major lawsuit accusing the group’s track of plagiarism.
Soon after, on May 9 KST, ADOR, NewJeans’ agency, issued a strong statement denying any plagiarism in the production of “How Sweet.” They confirmed they consulted with BANA, the company behind the song’s composition and production.
An ADOR representative told Xports News that the agency and NewJeans members will respond to the lawsuit following BANA’s position.
Fans quickly reacted positively to ADOR’s response, feeling the agency is finally protecting the group.
“Well done. Judging by how well they handled this situation, it looks like the members who returned will do just fine with their future activities.”
“But then what happens to Danielle?”
Other netizens expressed concern about the severity of the case and the lawsuit reportedly targeting the members.
“I mean, they reportedly even sued the members—how are they not going to issue a response? They’re still under ADOR’s management; are they just going to nitpick every time the group gains popularity?”
“Wow, this is a really severe case.”
“Fine, do at least that.”
As the situation unfolds, NewJeans, ADOR, and HYBE are gearing up to fight the lawsuit, standing firm against the plagiarism claims.
