Byeon Woo Seok is facing backlash after his first public appearance since the Perfect Crown controversy.
On May 19, the actor showed up at the press conference for the Netflix series Yoo Jae Suk Camp in Seoul.
A reporter asked him,
“Given how chaotic the current situation is (with the drama), it might be a bit burdensome to show a bright side on variety shows.”
Byeon Woo Seok responded,
“My vision of life has always been to do my best in every moment. So I did my best during the filming of the show, and I hope that you will view that positively for this program. Also, regarding the drama, I truly apologize.”
His apology did not sit well with netizens. Comments flooded in:
