Leading K-Drama Actor Accused of Legal Violation

Ryu Seung Bum is facing controversy for breaking traffic laws while driving a company vehicle.
The actor was fined after repeatedly using bus-only lanes during filming for the Netflix movie Good News.
The vehicle was a 7-seater Kia Carnival. Under Korean traffic law, such vehicles need at least six passengers to qualify for bus lane use. Ryu Seung Bum’s car didn’t meet this requirement.
His agency got fines totaling several hundred thousand won.
Reports say Ryu Seung Bum often drove himself without a manager or staff present, even though one was assigned.
He doesn’t own a personal car in Korea and depends on company vehicles for work and personal trips.
He recently ended his contract with Y One Entertainment and is finishing filming the Netflix series Dealer.
