BUMKEY releases pre-release single “SPEEED” featuring JUSTHIS and Justin Park
BUMKEY has released the pre-release single “SPEEED (feat. JUSTHIS, Justin Park)” as the kickoff to the countdown for his upcoming full-length album.
The song arrives ahead of his second full-length album, ‘On My Way,’ which is due out this August. It is BUMKEY’s first release in around nine months since the digital single “I’m Missing You.”
The track features groovy guitar riffs and a driving bassline. It aims to capture the relentless pace of modern city life and reflect on the directions people choose as they race toward their goals.
Acclaimed rapper JUSTHIS provides a hard-hitting verse on the song, while Korean American R&B singer Justin Park adds his signature vocals. Justin Park recently gained attention through a collaborative project with Quavo of Migos.
JUSTHIS also makes a special appearance in the music video, appearing on screen with BUMKEY to match the song’s high-energy feel.
Mixing was handled by David Yungin Kim. He is a three-time Grammy-winning Korean American engineer and has credits with global artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Nas.
“SPEEED” serves as the first preview of ‘On My Way,’ an album that reflects BUMKEY’s personal journey and the road ahead through his blend of R&B and soulful storytelling.
