AKMU, I.O.I and aespa win best song awards at 2026 K World Dream Awards
AKMU, I.O.I and aespa are among six winners announced for the Best Song Awards at the 2026 K World Dream Awards on July 28.

AKMU’s full-length album ‘Blooming’ kept top positions on major music charts for three consecutive months.
HWASA achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) with her single ‘Good Goodbye’.
I.O.I marked their 10th anniversary with the full-group comeback track ‘Suddenly’, which swept key music charts after nine years since their debut.
YENA’s title track ‘Catch Catch’ from the mini-album ‘LOVE CATCHER’ sustained steady popularity.
aespa’s second full-length album ‘LEMONADE’ topped worldwide music and album charts.
IVE’s title song ‘BANG BANG’ from their second full album ‘REVIVE+’ became the first artist this year to secure a perfect all-kill and maintain long-term chart success.
The 2026 K World Dream Awards will be held on August 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The event celebrates artists, producers, and staff, and marks the ceremony’s 10th anniversary.
Performances are scheduled from groups including ATEEZ, P1Harmony, RIIZE, and others. MCs Jun Hyun-moo and Jang Do-yeon will host the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year.
Global fan voting is ongoing for popularity awards in four categories: male and female groups, and male and female solo artists. The final competition will feature the top 30 nominees in each category.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live through an online streaming platform, with details to be announced later.
