ENHYPEN Called Out After Vogue Makes Mistake

ENHYPEN is facing backlash after Vogue France made a major blunder mixing up the K-pop group with Chinese actor Chen Zhe Yuan.
The controversy began when Vogue France posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the Saint Laurent Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 show. In the post, they mistakenly labeled Chen Zhe Yuan as a member of ENHYPEN.
Dans un costume brun impeccablement coupé, #ChenZheyuan du groupe #Enhypen a incarné la vision et l’élégance du défilé @YSL homme printemps-été 2027 par #Anthonyvaccarello. #ChenZheyuanxSaintLaurentSS27 #ChenZheyuanxSaintLaurent #ChenZheyuan #TiktokFashion #Pfw

The problem? Chen Zhe Yuan is not part of ENHYPEN. He’s a Chinese actor known for dramas like Hidden Love and The Princess and the Werewolf, with no ties to the HYBE boy group.
Fans quickly reacted online, with both ENHYPEN and Chinese drama fans expressing disbelief. Many took it lightly, joking about Chen’s “debut” in ENHYPEN.

Others questioned how a major fashion outlet could confuse a well-known actor with a K-pop idol.
Au lieu d’utiliser l’IA pour faire des recherches, une simple recherche internet suffit pour savoir que #ChenZheyuan est un acteur chinois et ne fait pas partie du groupe coréen Enhyphen ! 🙂 🙂 🙂 https://t.co/DOFYm2wPRc

The mistake quickly gained traction online. Many netizens pointed out that Chen and ENHYPEN are in completely different industries, making the error even more surprising.
As the post continued to attract attention, fans urged Vogue France to fix the mix-up.
