How Did Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Realize Actor Husband Byun Yo Han Was The One?

Tiffany Young surprised everyone by revealing she never planned to get married—until she met actor Byun Yo Han.

On SBS’s Uh, But Like, Seriously?, Tiffany opened up about becoming the first Girls’ Generation member to tie the knot. When host Tak Jae Hoon asked who would be the first in the group to marry, Tiffany said bluntly, “I became the first.”

The singer said marriage wasn’t on her agenda.

“I’m usually a huge planner, and I’m also very ambitious when it comes to work. So I had no plans to get married at all, but my thoughts changed after meeting my husband through a project.”

She explained what convinced her Byun Yo Han was the one.

“My life had found its own rhythm, but I started wanting to be with this person, too.”

“My husband is firm and steady, so I feel a sense of stability when he leads me. His actions are clear, he has a strong sense of responsibility, and he’s someone I can rely on. That’s why I became certain and thought, ‘He’s the one. This is my person.’”

Tiffany shared a cute detail about their married life: when she can’t hear him at home, she calls instead of shouting.

“There are times when I can’t hear my husband’s voice at home… I could call out loudly, but for some reason, I don’t want to, so I call him. When I call, he comes to where I am.”

Tiffany and Byun Yo Han confirmed their relationship last December with marriage in mind. They legally married in February 2026. No wedding date has been set yet.

Byun Yo Han’s agency said the couple is thinking about a simple wedding with close family only.
