HYBE Launches Inaugural Global Integrated Audition to Find Next BTS or SEVENTEEN Generation
HYBE is taking a big step with its first-ever integrated global audition, opening doors for the next generation of K-pop stars through a single, unified application. The entertainment powerhouse announced the launch of the HYBE MUSIC GROUP AUDITION on July 4 via its social media, sharing a bold poster featuring a golden ring.
The new audition system is a game changer — instead of applying to individual labels, hopefuls can submit just once and be considered by eight of HYBE’s affiliated labels all at once. These include BigHit Music, BELIFT LAB, Source Music, PLEDIS Entertainment, KOZ Entertainment, ADOR, and YG PLUS’s YX Labels, among others under the HYBE umbrella.
Applicants will have the chance to be evaluated by these labels, covering singing, dancing, or any outstanding talent suited for the K-pop industry. It’s open internationally to anyone born in or after 2007, regardless of gender. The submission window is from July 14 until September 7, and everything will be done online.
Adding a special touch to the project is Grammy-winning producer Ryan Tedder, who has already worked with HYBE and is involved in developing a new boy group. His participation amps up the excitement around this audition.
"A new stage begins. One application, a chance to be evaluated by eight labels."
In support of the global audition, HYBE will also hold a pop-up event in Japan, set to take place from August 27 through 30 at Mill Gallery & Mill 2ND in Shibuya, Tokyo. This event will likely draw many hopefuls and fans eager to see what’s coming next from the powerhouse.
With this move, HYBE continues its mission to find and nurture fresh talent worldwide. It’s a clear signal the company is focused on producing future K-pop icons to follow in the footsteps of groups like BTS and Seventeen, who have set the standard for global success.
The audition’s integrated approach and star involvement make it one of the biggest opportunities for young talent aiming to break into the industry. Keep an eye out for updates as the process unfolds.
