Jimin’s “Who” Ties BTS’s “Dynamite” as Longest-Charting K-Pop Song on UK Official Singles Chart
BTS member Jimin has made history on the UK Official Singles Chart, with his solo track “Who” matching the record set by his group’s hit “Dynamite” as the longest-charting K-pop song of the decade. The achievement marks a significant milestone for both Jimin and the K-pop industry.

According to the latest UK Official Singles Chart released on March 7 (local time), “Who” climbed 21 spots to No. 23, marking its 27th week on the chart. This ties the record previously held by BTS’s 2020 global hit “Dynamite,” which also spent 27 weeks on the chart. Jimin now holds the record for the longest-charting Korean solo artist since the chart’s reorganization in 2014.
The success of “Who” solidifies Jimin’s position as a standout soloist within BTS, showcasing his ability to maintain strong chart performance as a group member and an individual artist. The track is the title song from his second solo album, MUSE, which has been widely praised for its artistic depth and emotional resonance.
BTS Members Dominate Global Streaming Charts
Jimin’s achievement comes alongside strong performances by other BTS members on global music platforms. On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart (February 28–March 6), several solo projects by BTS members made notable appearances:
- j-hope‘s collaboration with Don Toliver and Pharrell Williams, “LV Bag,” ranked 165th for the second consecutive week.
- Jimin’s “Who” re-entered the chart at No. 10.
- Jungkook‘s solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” held steady at No. 102.
- Jin‘s “Running Wild,” the title track from his solo album Happy, ranked 107th.
- V‘s duet with Park Hyo-shin, “Winter Ahead,” secured the 126th spot.
These results highlight the enduring global appeal of BTS members’ solo endeavors, further cementing their influence in the music industry.
Jimin’s record-breaking achievement underscores the growing impact of K-pop in the UK, a market traditionally dominated by Western artists. By tying with “Dynamite,” Jimin has not only matched a historic benchmark set by his own group but also demonstrated the sustained popularity of K-pop on a global scale.
As BTS members continue to explore solo projects, their individual successes contribute to the group’s legacy while pushing the boundaries of what K-pop artists can achieve internationally. Jimin’s latest milestone is a testament to his artistry and the unwavering support of fans worldwide.
