The drama started when a popular Korean Instagram account, “@donglrami,” run by social media poet Kim Dong Hyun with 730K followers, posted a photo claiming to be from Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah’s wedding. The pic featured the couple with Kim Ji Won and quickly went viral, gathering nearly half a million likes.
The caption was a long poetic post about marriage, adding to the post’s appeal. But fans grew suspicious since no wedding photos had been officially released by Kim Woo Bin, Shin Min Ah, or Kim Ji Won.
The truth came out when Kim Woo Bin himself commented under the post, confirming it was an AI-created image.
Despite the actor’s clarification, the post remains live. Out of controversy, comments were disabled and likes hidden.
This incident has sparked talks about the rising problem of AI-generated fake celebrity images and how they’re becoming more normalized online.
