Korean Actor Arrested for Drunk Driving and Avoiding Restaurant Payment

Korean YouTuber and Actor Booked for Drunk Driving and Dine-and-Dash
A Korean YouTuber and minor actor is facing controversy after leaving a restaurant without paying and then getting caught drunk driving.
The controversy began on June 15 when police received a tip that a man drank at a bar in Seoul and left without settling his bill. Officers found the 34-year-old actor around midnight and gave him a breathalyzer test. His blood alcohol content was between 0.03% and 0.08%, high enough for a license suspension.
As the situation escalated, the actor said he just “forgot to pay” and later settled the unpaid amount.
The actor has been appearing in minor film roles since 2015 and runs a YouTube channel with around 200,000 views per video. He also appears on “Excel broadcasts,” a streaming format where viewers are ranked by how much they donate.
He has been formally booked under South Korea’s Road Traffic Act for drunk driving. No arrest has been confirmed.

“He simply ‘forgot to pay’ and later settled the amount,” the police said according to JoongAng Ilbo.
