NewJeans’ Minji Delights Fans With Gifts and Handwritten Postcards Before Birthday

NewJeans’ Minji surprised fans with a special birthday gift during a fan event.

From May 5 to May 7, 2026 (KST), the fan account @Newjeans_heart on X hosted a birthday café event at Yogopro Frozen Yogurt in Hongdae to celebrate Minji’s 22nd birthday.

On the first day, Minji personally visited the café and left a bag of home-baked cookies along with handwritten postcards for fans.

The postcards shared Minji’s heartfelt message to her fans, affectionately called “Bunnies.” She expressed gratitude and curiosity about how her fans have been doing, and encouraged them to enjoy the cookies she baked.

Hi, Bunnies. Have you all been doing well?? Have you been eating well? I’m curious hehe. It’s May. It feels like one of those seasons when everything blossoms just like you imagine.
I heard that again this year, lots of Bunnies gathered to celebrate my birthday! I felt like I couldn’t miss out either!! So with that in mind, I baked some cookies. I hope you enjoy them. Please only take one cookie each!! So the Bunny visiting after you can have some too… And if possible, eat them today!! That way they’ll taste the best. I’m always so thankful to you, Bunnies… There are so many things I want to say right now… A truck full!!! I can only hope we’ll have another good opportunity to meet again soon. I’m already looking forward to it!

Hi Bunnies!! It’s really been a long time hehe. Have you all been doing well~? It’s already been a year since I spent my birthday with Bunnies last year…!! This year, I tried what I couldn’t last year and prepared cookie gifts!! I think I baked about 500 of them… hehe. Please make sure to take only one cookie each~ If possible, eat it on the day you receive it. That’s when it’ll taste the best!! My dear Bunnies, I wonder if you’re doing well, and I’m curious about you all~ Are Bunnies curious about what I’ve been up to too?? I hope I get to sit and talk to you all for four hours again.
