Sung Si Kyung Witnesses aespa Surrounded By Sasaeng Fans

Sung Si Kyung exposes harsh sasaeng fan harassment faced by aespa on a recent flight.

The controversy began when Sung Si Kyung shared a story on his YouTube channel on the 1st, in a video titled, “I heard about Kim Junsu’s journey from idol singer to the first-ever musical acting award winner.”

During the video, Kim Junsu opened up about the sasaeng fan harassment he endured while in TVXQ. Sung Si Kyung then revealed his own recent experience flying home on the same plane as the girl group aespa.

“aespa must be having a really hard time. Sasaeng fans were on the plane with them,” Sung Si Kyung said.
“After passport control, about 30 fans surrounded and waited for them.”

He added,

“The members looked completely drained,” expressing sympathy.
“The managers can’t take care of all four members, so isn’t there someone who should stop this?”

Kim Junsu responded bitterly to the story,

“It’s still the same,”
“Sometimes sasaeng fans even sit nearby,”

highlighting that idols continue to face these struggles.

When Sung Si Kyung expressed anger,

“People who break those boundaries aren’t real fans,”

Kim Junsu shared a painful memory:

“Thinking back to my time, you just give up,” he began.
“As soon as I activated my phone number, I got a call in the car on the way to the dorm. When I answered, they said, ‘Did you think I wouldn’t know?’ At that moment, I really felt broken.”
