Yoo Jae Suk Shares Humorous Advice on Marriage and Fatherhood Survival

Yoo Jae Suk sparks buzz as “realistic counselor” on Whenever Possible
The controversy started on the March 17 episode of SBS variety show Whenever Possible. Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok hosted with actors Park Sung Woong and Lee Sang Yoon, offering healing moments around Daechi-dong.
Yoo Jae Suk grabbed the spotlight by stepping up as a “realistic counselor” for middle schoolers dealing with their New Year’s money dilemmas.
When a middle schooler said,
“I was promised to buy something I want with the New Year’s money I saved with my dad, but my mom opposed it,”
Yoo immediately fired back with empathy:
“The New Year’s money is your money!”
But the mood flipped when the requested item cost more than Yoo expected. He joked,
“Actually, the dad has no power. You have to listen to your mom.”
The laughter grew as Yoo shared a “survival tip” for New Year’s etiquette, after learning the student hadn’t done the traditional bow:
“You can’t skip the New Year’s bow. It’s something you must do as soon as you open your eyes in the morning.”
Yoo Jae Suk’s mix of sincere advice and humor got viewers talking fast.
