“Single’s Inferno 5” Panelist Issues Public Apology To Choi Mina Sue

Choi Mina Sue faced major backlash as the “villain” of Single’s Inferno 5. Viewers weren’t the only ones criticizing her messy behavior—panelist Hong Jin Kyung also threw shade throughout the show.
The controversy started as soon as the first episodes dropped on Netflix. Mina Sue’s indecisiveness and attitude got a lot of heat. Hong Jin Kyung’s blunt reactions didn’t help, either.
Fans took to Twitter to call out the tension:
“the look jinkyung gave dex when he called mina sue cute lmaoooo SHE WAS NOT HAVING IT ”
— @Blcktann
“thank you mingee and hong jinkyung for representing everyone’s reaction to mina sue’s indecisive ass”
— @morelikebangtan
Now that Single’s Inferno 5 wrapped, the cast seems to be squashing the drama. On February 11, Hong Jin Kyung posted photos from a company dinner with the cast. She was even seen playfully apologizing to Mina Sue.

Plus, several shots show the cast enjoying a night out together, shaking off the onscreen tension.

For now, it looks like Mina Sue and Hong Jin Kyung have turned the page after all the drama. Fans are watching to see if this newfound peace lasts off-camera.
