ILLIT’s “Tick-Tack” surpasses 200 million Spotify streams fueled by short-form buzz

ILLIT‘s “Tick-Tack” has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.

Spotify data as of July 26, 2026 shows “Tick-Tack,” from the second mini album ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’, exceeded 200 million streams. It is ILLIT’s third song to hit the 200 million mark after “Magnetic” and “Not Cute Anymore.”

“Tick-Tack” built its momentum on short-form video platforms rather than traditional promotions. The song’s repetitive scatting sound, which resembles a ticking clock, and a finger-snapping dance move sparked viral challenges and dance videos across social media.

The track’s short, catchy chorus fitted well with viral content, helping it keep and grow streaming numbers long after the album’s main promotional period ended. Rather than fading, the song steadily increased its presence on streaming charts.

ILLIT currently has seven songs on Spotify with over 100 million streams each. “Magnetic” leads with 800 million streams, while “Not Cute Anymore” and “Tick-Tack” have both surpassed 200 million. Other songs with more than 100 million streams are “Lucky Girl Syndrome,” “Cherish,” “Borrowed Cat,” and “Jealous,” bringing the group’s total cumulative streaming count to 2.8 billion across their discography.

This milestone for “Tick-Tack” highlights how viral short-form content can extend an album track’s life beyond title-track promotions. Fans and industry observers will watch closely to see how ILLIT continues to grow their influence through innovative digital engagement.
