aespa opened up about their first long vacation in seven years during a recent chat with BIG BANG’s Daesung.
On June 12, the YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG posted a video titled “First Reveal. aespa Explains Their Universe,” featuring members Winter and Giselle.
Daesung asked the duo, “Have you had a long vacation?” Winter answered,
“The longest break I took was three weeks. That was this year.”
Giselle added,
“I went on a trip in January. It was my first in seven years,”
which surprised Daesung.
Winter shared details about her trip:
“I went to Hawaii. But if I stay abroad for too long, I start feeling uneasy. Even there, I kept checking my phone and listening to music, and I got a bit bored. I was there for three nights and four days.”
She added,
“I think that was just right.”
Daesung was surprised,
“Including travel time, three nights and four days? That means you were actually there for about one night and two days.”
Winter clarified,
“I slept for two nights.”
Describing her vacation style, Winter said,
“I just stayed on the beach. I didn’t do any special activities, just watched movies and then slept.”
Giselle talked about her own break:
“I went to LA. I don’t really know how to rest. Even there, I kept working. But that’s how I get my healing.”
