“Mortal Kombat” Star Faces Backlash Over Drastic Visual Change

Back in December 2022, Lin said he had a “gnarly” jaw injury that got infected. Many suspected he was using that story to cover up cosmetic jaw implants and other changes.

“Ludi Lin did a fine job as Liu Kang,” some fans defend his acting, but others remain skeptical about his visuals.

Lin first caught attention as the Black Ranger in 2017’s Power Rangers movie, then impressed in Black Mirror, building a solid fanbase for his looks and acting.

Warner Bros. and the Mortal Kombat official TikTok recently posted a clip showing Lin as Liu Kang at the premiere, sparking fresh debate over his altered look.
