Leading Actor Arrested Driving To Party With Suspended License, Faces Fifth DUI Charge
Son Seung Won is facing heavy heat again for driving without a license amid his latest DUI case.
The controversy began with his trial starting May 13 for his fifth drunk driving offense and hit-and-run causing injury. He was arrested last November after drinking in Apgujeong, then driving the wrong way for about 2 minutes at 6 a.m.
According to JTBC’s Newsroom, after arriving at the police station, Son reportedly told his girlfriend to remove the car’s black box to hide evidence. Suspicion grew when he was caught driving to a drinking party just one week before his trial — still without a valid driver’s license.
